Senator Jeff Merkley (D-OR) revealed details about what the “SAFE Banking Plus” marijuana legislative package might contain, but a senior federal official with the National Credit Union Administration said he didn’t think Congress had enough time to pass cannabis reforms this year.

We offer a second chance to those who are harmed by the criminalization of marijuana. ” The lieutenant governor tweeted, “We may not be able to legalize marijuana without the Legislature, but @GovernorTomWolf and I are doing everything we can to make sure those convicted of underage possession don’t continue to be punished for doing the wrong thing. most of the time [us] don’t even think it should be illegal. The official state Twitter account also promoted the cannabis rehabilitation program.

Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s (D) office responded to concerns from marijuana equity advocates, saying it “looks forward to continuing to work with the General Assembly to streamline the process and help applicants for the ‘social equity to enter and thrive in the industry’.

Ancient Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee (R) promotes a campaign committee trying to defeat the marijuana legalization initiative in the November ballot.
